Training

Training our consultants is at the he heart of our concerns.

Following the need for evolution of our consultants, our clients’ imperatives and the necessities of our projects, we, as a Registered Training Centre are equipped with a software development platform. In addition to lectures by our technical leaders or collaborators, this platform allows our consultants to learn and practice the following technologies:

  • Methods : UML, MERISE …
  • Systems : Linux, Unix, Windows …
  • Development : JAVA/J2EE, PHP, C, C++, C#,  SQL …
  • DBMS : MYSQL, ORACLE,  SQL Server …

Quality is our commitment

Moreover, a room dedicated to self-training is available for our consultants whenever they need to improve their knowledge (Real-Time, JAVA, J2EE, C++, .NET, …).

For other kinds of training, we call in acknowledged external training centers.

Training is very important for CELAD. Thus, the dedicated budget is often higher than the French legal minimum.

Our policy fits 3 criteria:

  • Maintaining skills to the highest possible level.
  • Acquiring new skills for technological progress and versatility.
  • Improving knowledge and personal development.

CELAD Lunch Lectures

3 to 4 times a year, our technical leaders organize lecture lunches regarding various IT themes (OOP, Applications, N-Tiers, Telephony, Real-Time …).

The way it works

A CELAD employee wanting to share their expertise with others CELAD consultants may express on a subject for about 90mn. The purpose is to increase technical knowledge of our consultants’ through expertise sharing.

That’s why CELAD offer their engineers possibilities of evolution that match their ambitions.
Skills improvement of our consultants is guaranteed by several types of actions:
From their arrival at CELAD and for the whole duration of their career, our consultants benefit from a management that stays close to them.

Precise management

Consultants may indeed report to a chosen spokesperson (technical manager or commercial engineer) whom they can call for if needed. Technical manager and/or commercial engineer supervise and advise the collaborator about their evolution in CELAD, for example by  organizing trainings in order to enhance their skills or to widen them to other technologies.
Our technical managers aim to follow-up on the projects of our consultants, regarding Human, Functional, and Technical sides. To do so, periodic meetings are organized jointly with client managers (IS manager, project managers…) and/or project managers from CELAD (in case of projects that are carried out at our offices) .

Pre-defined follow-up

In the framework of Technical Assistance, a follow-up meeting is organized every 2 or 3 months (shared between the one of commercial engineer and the one of the technical manager). Periodicity is obviously modular according to missions, experiences of the consultant, and it is decided in line with the project manager and consultant expectations.

Moreover, A yearly review evaluates the needs for training as well as the level of acquired skills. It’s also then time for the consultant to express themselves about their wishes for  personal evolution.

What’s more, thanks to a transversal vision in regards of all of the CELAD projects, our technical managers can identify skills poles that allow technical exchanges and support to take place.
